Is there a free VIN decoder out there that will show what options the Q5 was equipped with at the factory?

All the ones I've seen, including the one on AudiWorld.com do not show this level of detail.

Yes, but you'll find it only in specially marked boxes of Cracker Jack.

Pete, if you have access to the build label (near spare tire in trunk or in maint. booklet), you can see the production codes there. There is a "decoder" list somewhere on this website...it's very comprehensive.

Thanks all, but that's not what I'm looking for. I don't have the PR codes.

Basically, I go on audiusa.com and try to search for a Q5 with specific options, but the search results don't show me any options, they only show VIN. I was hoping I could punch in the VIN into some decoder and it would tell me what options/packages that vehicle has.

It's impossible that you do not have the PR codes.
All Audi cars have a PR codes.
