Front and rear floor liners for $179.90 US. You can get the cargo liner for $119 more. Don't have a picture of mine right now, but they cover the entire floor area with a side lip that comes up about 2-3 inches all around, and they snap onto the standard floor pegs. The only salt I got on the carpet last winter (which was horrible) was a little leakeage through the floor peg holes.

My only initial reservation was color--they come in tan, black and grey--because I wasn't sure how the tan would look with the pistachio beige. Just fine, as it turns out--since there are already several different colors of brown/beige in that interior, one more slightly different shade doesn't matter.

I don't trek in a lot of mud. But one of the first things I did when I picked up the car, was to soak the carpets with 3M's Scotchgard for carpet. Mats too.

It makes cleanup a lot easier.

Rent a carpet cleaner and do the floors, let them dry thoroughly, then apply Scotchgard (rear compartment too) and use whichever mats make you happy.

I have never understood why someone decided carpeting would be a good idea in cars. Winter mats all the way, 12 months. There is no way I could keep up with trying to keep carpet clean here in NE.

That said, my hat is off to those of you able to make carpeting work in your Q's.

Black carpeting is VERY easy to keep clean IMO - Just needs a vacuum once every 1-2 weeks.

I will personally never own a vehicle with light coloured carpetting or seating.... It looks gross after only a few thousand kms.
Ever seen what happens to the light interiors in Autoshow cars?

Yuck.

Same here. Rubber mats all year - even in California.

I agree! Winter for snow & salt, Spring for mud, Summer for water & sand, Fall for leaves that stick to your feet. My carpet is still new underneath. Just pull 'em, dump 'em, hose 'em off if necessary, and slap 'em back in. Now that's simplicity.

I've had no problem keeping light colored seating looking great. Like anything else, just requires the right approach. Lexol conditioner every 6 months is mine, cleaner as needed.

With a light interior, you can see when it needs cleaning. With a black interior, consider this:
You're surrounded by that same gross stuff, but you just can't see it!

Mmmm, yummy.
