Default Winter Wheels Going On - Bolt size and torque settings?

Hi folks - got a Q5 TDI this summer, and getting ready to put on the winter wheels for the first time. What size are the wheel bolts? And what's the proper torque?

Thanks!

Hi, I don't know the bolt dimensions, but the Q5 wheels get torqued to 140 N*m (103 ft*lbs).

The people that sold you the winter wheels should have provided new lug bolts if the OE bolts are not compatible.

They're OEM wheels - same style in fact.

Thanks for torque info.

Bolt heads are 17mm if that's what you mean. Very std. Audi for lug bolts. Reinstalled mine 2 days ago for the season w/ first snow trip.

Yes, 17mm. Same as my BMW. My aftermarket wheels came with new studs with the taper resistant heads/locking tool thing. I laughed a little, because the Hakkas are worth more than the wheels.

Yep - what size socket do I need. Fortunately same as BMW I have, so easy-peasy.

If you guys need some custom size bolts/locks, check this place Otis Inc. LAŽ : RAD, lug bolts, lug nuts, wheel locks, wheel spacers, wheels, hub rings, lug covers, AMG, Carlsson, forged, chrome center caps out. They are OEM quality. I used them on my Mercedes with big brake kit and BBS rims. Works like a champ!
