Fender lip protection installed.
Hi,
I was originally going to install the complete fender flare "Offroad Kit" but the parts did not fit up front without a whole new front bumper cap. I have a 2016 Audi Q5 3.0 TFSI (non-Sline).
Instead, I opted for the "Wing Extensions" or as I call them fender lip protectors. I purchased them from ECS Tuning - Audi part no. 8R00716814U8.
They go on easy - just be sure to heat up the fender (up front) or bumper cap (rear) good with a heat gun and use your favourite product to clean and degrease the spots. The clips are a bit tough to engage - be sure you actually grab the fender.
Here is the installed look:
Front right - angle.
Front right - from behind.
Front right - top center wheel arch,
Right rear - angle.
Right rear from behind.
Right rear - from front.

Got this on our S-line or at least something really similar. Amazing how well it works for such a narrow strip. We live on a dirt road [1/2 mile to H/W] and the wife's Q5 always looks a lot cleaner than my truck with its huge mudflaps. Of course, my ATR tires tend to throw a bit more mud . . .
