Picked up the SQ5 - FINALLY!! :-D
The wait was WELL worth it!! :-)
The details:
Panther Black
Black/Magma Nappa
Carbon Atlas Inlays
B&O
Navigation
Adaptive Cruise
Rear window shades
TPMS
21" wheels
First impressions?
This thing is FAST!
I haven't really pushed it to the limits, but I can tell already that she's a beast.
I've driven every Q5 except for the TDI and can tell you that even when holding back, the SQ5 is loads quicker than all of them.
Interestingly, my car came with the Pirelli tires when I was totally expecting the Dunlops. (Not sure why I was... I just was :-p)
Someone mentioned that they felt that they were noisy at speed, and I have to agree with that.
IMO, the tire sound is more "noticable" than annoying, but I guess time will tell. - I've certainly heard worse.
One thing I find I really like about the SQ5 is the "engine sound" option... It adds a noticeable burble to the exhaust, especially at startup and shutdown and shifting quickly on throttle. Awesome! :-)
The suspension in my Canadian SQ5 is definitely not as low as the Euro version.
I will get the tape measure out tomorrow and report back with pics. :-)

Many, many grats. The car sounds absolutely fantastic. Looking forward to some pics and, of course, the wheel arch measurements. Steve
