Default Audi Q7 Rotors.

Hello,

New to Audi. Bought a 2008 Q7, need to change front rotors and pads. Want to put Hawk ceramic pads, any suggestions on rotors?

Thanks

I recently switched out my pads and rotors, and went with Textar Rotors and Hawk Ceramic Pads. Very happy with the lack of dust, but there is a slight trade off with shopping distance versus non-ceramic.

Overall though, very happy.

OEM rotors from AutohausAZ online. Great pricing.

Brakeperformance.com has quality cross drilled/slotted rotors and pads. Ceramic pads aren't really for a heavy q7 and not recommended.

i am looking at those sets - which one did you go with there are too many choices that are scrambling my brain. They also have ceramic showing. I am so confused on the choices of materials in brake pads these days - carports.com has so many different brake pad materials in their Q7 choices - I gave up and hit the forum to find out what everyone is picking.

I'm leaning towards getting Zimmerman rotors. Still looking to see where's the best deal

If you go to Brakeperformance.com, they don't recommend ceramic pads for a heavy suv. I don't know why, figured they knew what they were talking about since they sell brakes

Autoanything.com

great site, lots of product options. I opted for StopTech slotted rotors and Hawk LTS pads; i was advised to avoid cross drilled rotors for the Q7 by more than one mechanic/ tech.
