Bose sound system having a loud problem

OMG. Just about peed my pants after hearing the most horrific sound coming from my driver side door Bose speaker when I went to turn on the radio.

It was a super bass sound and I think none of the other speakers in the car were working according to my daughter in the back seat. My door rattled, the sound was so loud!

Any thoughts on what is going on and what I should do?

OK, I reset the MMI. I think it crashed.

Wow. I'd have said blown speaker, but it sounds like that MMI system is really running everything.

Sounds like you have blocked sunroof drains. I know this seems crazy but if they block the overflow (not really a proper overflow. It just comes through a breather pipe) lets water run down inside the right hand rear pillar where it gets into the Bose amp. Its not supposed to happen to an 09 though.
