Hey,

My console trim has a dent in it, so I am swapping it out for a new one. I have everything swapped from the old trim to the new trim, but can't figure out how to remove the socket for the cigarette lighter. It's a 2013 q7, any help greatly appreciated!

The dealer has a special tool to take this apart, took him 1 minute.

Removing the 12v socket / cigarette lighters is a pain, you have to slide the metal tube out first then pry in the plastic tab and slide it out to remove it.
