Default High Pressure Fuel Pump

Hi there, so my 2010 TDI fuel pump died while driving. My car turned off and luckily I was able to pull over and not get into an accident. Dealership is now quoting me about $15k for the repair. Unfortunately my warranty ran out a year ago. I find that Audi of USA sent a letter to extend the Q7 fuel pump warranty up to 10 years. Audi of Canada will not help at all. I tried to tell them about the issue exists in the USA. But all I get is that it does not apply to Canada. Is there anything else I can do? I'm the first owner of the vehicle, always serviced on time and can't believe now I'm stuck with a 15k bill for something I believe shouldn't happen for a 5 year old car. But I guess anything can happen.

We have in AOA customer service call rep once we have questions about warranty, do you have anything like customer service call in Canada?

Sometimes a number is in the owners manual.

Yeah I contact Audi of Canada. They are not helping at all due to the fact warranty has expired.

Sorry to hear this. Yes I did get the warranty extension letter for mine. Have had no problems in 85000 miles however. You stated 15k! What is being replaced besides the high pressure fuel pump? Was contaminated fuel or bio diesel mentioned as a cause?
