Love the performance of the 3.0TDI and have ownwed 3 TDI's to date...but the dealer who sold our 2010 to us lied about the accident history of the car and the features it had/didn't have on it so will have some sort of justification if Audi has to buy our Q7 back. My hope is to pick up a clean 2011/2012 TDI model after the fix.

i am in the same boat with my 2010. On the one hand, great vehicle, do not want to get rid of it.

But on the other hand, if they go by the same parameters of pricing these buybacks as they did the 2.0tdi engines, we all stand to get some excellent money. Basically, book value in September of 2015 + restitution which ranged from $5100 to $10000. You do the math....

Where can you find the value in September 2015?

hypothetic question, but if you were to have recently bought a 3.0TDi vehicle which was then discovered to be part of the buy-back. Are you eligible for the buy-back or is there some sort of ineligibility due to not owning the vehicle at the time of the "stop sale"?

that rule applied for the $1000 voucher but i don't think it will matter on the buy back. The cars have to be bought out, so what does it matter when you bought it. At least that's how i see it. And you can always claim you knew nothing about the scandal. The stop sale only applied to Audi dealerships, you can still buy them at other dealerships. I actually bought mine from a Jaguar Dealership.

Better go pick up your TDI while there's still time

It is just a matter of time at this point....waiting for the official announcement.

I'm kind of at a crossroad -- not sure what to do. Mine is a 2009 so I am sure I'll be part of the buyback...the problem is that I do not know what to get next. I would love to stay with diesel but I need a 7 seater vehicle. The 3rd row of the Q7 has not really been great for us --and I miss the 3rd row we had with our Volvo XC90. However, the XC90 and the Q7 TDI are two completely different vehicles.....there really is no comparison.

I feel like a traitor even considering other German diesel vehicles...and I don't know if they are right for me. I just don't know. All I know I that I want a 7 seater vehicle that gets great gas mileage and is reliable. What that is....I don't know yet.
