Bought my first Audi and diesel 10/13 (2014 Q7 tdi) which now has 15,000 miles. Great torque right off idle and huge range (after 500 mile trip still had a third of a tank)! Slow warmup in below zero temperature but you never, ever get something for nothing. I'm very pleased.

It's a very common fault with all Audi's. I would stick to another/any other make if I were you, in fact, every Audi I have ever owned which is about 20 now, has displayed this very same fault all the time. I just thought it was a design feature to save the risk of speeding tickets.
