Default Sound system repair

Hello,

I'm the lucky owner of Q7 premium 2007. i have the car from about a year or so.
last week, after a bad weather and some rain, the audio cut for 2 min and stop with all MMI functions and display... no rear cam nothing on display. pressing MMI illuminate the display for 2 second and it goes off again.

VCD show me:
Address 47: Sound System
Cannot be reached

along with many other module all related or connected to the MMI.

i did some search and findout about the roof leacking water problem directly onto the bose amplifyer..
i remove it from the car and yes, it was a water problem.
i have a big electronic knowlege, i want to try to repair it but i can't find any info on what would be blown and how to repair it.
any info would be very much apreciated.

another Q, if we cant repair, audi ask for 1800$ for new one, and outside i can get used one at about 1000, what do you think?

also, the audi shop say they want to use silicone to stop the leaking?!
any info on how to repaire this leak will be very much apreciated as well.

All Q7 with sunroof have this problem i heard, so all audi Q7 owners must be warnned, the leak is from under the sunroof where the tube taking the water down is installed. i did not uncover to see how exact yet.

thanks in advance...

i forget to add, this is the data of the bose amp i have:
Address 47: Sound System Labels: 4L0-910-223-BO.lbl
Part No SW: 4L0 910 223 D HW: 4L0 035 223 A
Component: DSP-High AU716 H02 0110
Revision: PROD_01 Serial number: 00000000014329
Coding: 0000026
Shop #: WSC 31414 790 00001
VCID: 254BC1FEECF47036C81-8070

i take it from old log.

also, my car comes from the state, what should be the default PIN for coding?

Default coding / Adapting new bose amp

Hi,

i could not fix, and to avoid to be bluffed by some shop i went and buy new one from Audi direct @ 1800$.

i have VCD registred and i know the coding and i did the coding and adapting as described.. i have audio speakers working in front ONLY.

i called audi, they said i have take it to their shop to adapt it online in order to work fylly not only basic settings...

is this true? there is a way to configure it myself?

any help is appreciated.

Same issue - the part number you got is not the same as the original part you had.

APPARENTLY, audi has to update the system to register that product as not 'stolen' before it fully functions in your car. I paid 1.5 hrs labour to update.
