Default Winter is Coming ….

First snow flurries last Friday prompted me to prep the car for the winter today after only having had it for only 250 miles:

1) Lowered the front and back by 15 mm with VAG-COM
2) Mounted winter wheels with H&R Wheels spacers (18mm front and 23mm rear) installed with new 53mm and 58mm bolts. Center caps are still being painted.
3) Plastic mats are going in tomorrow

It's a slippery slope. Electric brake controller for towing gets installed tomorrow.

How much does that trailer weigh with and without cars in it? Is the Q7's towing capacity enough to handle that rig?

Q7 tows 6600 lbs with a tongue weight of 660 lbs. Fully loaded, the trailer, car and equipment weight about 5500 lbs with the car being about 3000 lbs, the trailer about 2000 lbs. I used to tow with a Porsche Cayenne with no problem but with the longer wheel base, 50 lbs higher tongue weight capacity and diesel, the Q7 should be even better.
