the DRL LEDs reminds me of the new Cayenne. Whereas both the turn signal and the DRLs are in the same housing. Yellow LEDs come on for the turn signal, and the DRL (white) LEDs remain on.

To avoid replacing the control module I kept the original harness in place and replaced the bulbs with resistors to get rid of any error messages, i wired up the new lights through the trailer light circuit, all works as it should with no errors and saved a few hundred dollars in the process.
The front DRLs are led strips with 5050smd type leds 50cm (20")long wired up to parking lights in parallel and fitted in the gab under the original lights.

Hi xlr8it,
Nice work!!!
I purchased the official turn signal LED lights from China Audi dealer and try to retrofit them to my 2007 Q7 4.2.
I realized it requires me to do some work on the front pumper in order to have them fit. How did you fit it and how about the wires? The 2007 Q7 original turn signal lights are with 2 orange color light bulbs but the new LED has only 1 plug. How did you do it?
And how about the tail LED? Can you make a brief tutorial?
Ron
