Upgrading headlights - question
Hi all, I am about to upgrade my 2007 Q7 S-line's head lights and I need a little guidance -
I currently have the NON-LED headlights which are 4L0-941-003 H (Left) and 4L0-941-004 H (Right)
these are AFS HID Headlights -
What part #'s should I obtain to upgrade these?? There are so many variants? does any one know ?
Thanks !
Henry

If you are 100% certain you have Adaptive AFS headlights these are most likely the part numbers you need:
4L0941029AD
4L0941030AD
89321255
89321265
I am not sure what would be needed in addition to the headlights to make the LED portion work but I am sure kufatec makes a kit. They make kits for everything these days. Also avoid V12 headlights and RHD. They will not work on your vehicle.
If you want additional photos or information you can find some info here:

Iconoclast, correct prefix to the AFS headlight is AL for North America, you can check out all the parts needed and instructions here: http://www.oemplus.com/DIY/Q7_LED_Headlamps.pdf
I did it, not too hard to do it, just be patient.

if your're going this route i would recommend getting the euro e-code headlights. they're brighter and have a sharper beam patter and in addition to that it deletes the ugly amber reflector.
as you pointed out the part numbers i provided are for euro spec headlights for left hand drive vehicles so they are for USDM/NAR and will work fine here without blinding on-coming traffic or issues with proper lighting.
also please avoid purchasing from oempl.us because they are thieves and over-promise and under deliver. do a quick search and you will find several members on here and other audi forums have been swindled by them.
