Default Vehicle slips terribly even after installing Winter Tires on Q7

I have installed Dunlop GRANDTREK WT M3 P275/45R20 XL - 110V Winter Tires on my Q7 but the vehicle slips terribly even in little snow. What should be the tire PSI for one passenger and with full load? I have set it to 36.

Also the Tires makes a lot of noise. (

R, open your Owner's Manual to find the two tire pressures. The info is toward the back of the book.

The thing to keep in mind is that all tires get coated with a release lubricant that prevents them from sticking in their mold. Some of that lubricant stays on the tire and reduces traction. It generally takes about 500 miles of easy driving on dry roads to wear off the lubricant and for the tire to start performing as designed. New winter tires should be put on in time before the first snow hits, so that they can be broken in on dry roads and hopefully by the time snow hits they have at least 500 miles on them. As for the noise, winter tires are generally more noisy due to the tread pattern.

Was your vehicle having issues sliding with your old tires, and not driving in snow? If so, you could also need an alignment if that was the case.

What everyone said, new tires have a protective coating that needs to be worn out, 500 miles is a bit excessive though, just do some driving on dry pavement and take tight turns for about 60 miles and you'll be good. If still no change, do an alignment, i had the same issue in snow with the back end constantly shifting side to side even going straight but right aftet i did an alignment it was night and day difference. Ive read a few threads of Q7 owners sliding when it snows and completely fixing the issue after an alignment
