Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
What a missed opportunity. The exterior is woefully woeful. Terrible. But I guess it'll still be worth it for the engine improvements. Those interior improvements are beautiful. But god damn I prefer the way my 2010 q7 looks so much

The exterior is not fitting to the new Audi style direction. It is not progressive by any means -- exceptionally conservative.
IMO, it's not ugly, it's just forgettable. Too bad. We waited a very long time for this.

I am so let down by the exterior. The taillights are the worst. I thought the A6 taillights were bad, these are worse. They look like an afterthought with no attempt to integrate them in the design. Interior looks really nice, but I was waiting for this, and now Im going to have to pass. The new XC90 is looking better and better. BMW is killing me with their exterior design, and now Audi.

You're right. Your 2010 model looks much better than this pedestrian automobile. "What a missed opportunity" is right. I guess Audi shouldn't have let their design guy go to Kia.

I need to come out onto the drive, see my car and have it give me goose bumps lol. Which my 2010 face-lift q7 does, its still beautiful, this one will bore me a little, not all about looks I know but I need the looks, personal preference.
The kai cars looking better recently, I wonder what the previous design of this q7 looked like cause apparently it was redesigned for not being good enough looks wise, so this is the redesign of the previous design??? The first design was that bad that this is what they settled on? Feeling deflated

Thats disappointing. It looks like a Lexus SUV mixed with a BMW SUV which have hardly changed their looks in 15+ years. I think the latest release of BMW styling really sealed the deal for me, I will never buy one. And I thought the facelift before the last one was bad at BMW. I wonder what the rest of the Audi line up will start looking like with a different designer.
Funny, there's a Kia that looks an awful lot like the Q5 but a little smaller. Now that I see someone said the guy left Audi for Kia it makes sense.
