Hi all,

I plan to get a 2017 Q7 and debate between the Premium Plus vs Prestige trim.

These are 2 configs that I'm interested in.
Premium Plus
- Driver Assistance package
- Vision package
- 20" wheel
- side airbag
$64,550

Prestige (included Vision package, 20" wheel)
- Driver Assistance package
- side airbag
$67,050

So the PP is $2500 cheaper, but would not have the Bose sound and Headup display, is it correct? Not sure what else am I missing...
Does the Vision package in PP include "8.3" TFT color center MMIŽ infotainment display" listed in base Prestige? If it's not included, then what would be in that screen in the PP model or there wouldn't be any on-dash pop-out screen at all?

Of course, I would like to try to save as much as possible, but also want to get the out bang for my bucks. Which one do you recommend me to get?

The Premium Plus is also missing Warm Weather package. Personally, I wouldn't get one without Bose.

Get Prestige, head up display itself is worth. In addition to Bose, Interior lighting Plus, Warm weather.

Because the base sound system doesn't sound very good IMO. It gets loud but the clarity is lacking. Not everyone cares about music as much as me though.

And you don't even have to care about music or be an audiophile to appreciate a better sound system. I agree the base audio is total crap, and the B&O while excellent, is just not worth the $5k extra on top of Prestige (to me at least). The Bose 3D sounds great to most ears, and a good value when bundled with all the other stuff that comes with Prestige.

I was in your same boat minus the drivers assistance.

Went with the Prestige.

Drivers assistance is excellent. Try a car with the 4 wheel steering. I love it!

That was a fun day at work. We even tried it with people and the result was the same (except they jumped out of the way). I have since driven other cars and have gotten Pre Sense City to activate, so we still have no idea why the car we used in the video never activated Pre Sense.
