I bought one. I think it was $3800. May have overpaid but have 90 days to get a full refund. I figured it was worth it with all of the tech on the car.

I would be interested in hearing others experiences on this as well.

thx...so this is not bad comparing to volvo xc90 100k which was $2800... hoping others chime in with some numbers as this is most certainly negotiable at the dealer!

The initia quote was $5100. My number was supposedly as low as they could go

YOWZA! Certainly sounds good compared to that...but still need a reality ck...For Volvo, there is a dealer in NE that only sells Volvo certifed ex. warranties over the phone and he's always lower than other dealers but he sells a boat load of them...wonder if Audi has one like that as it doesn't matter where you buy the warranty if its a certified Audi one...

Hello baltfan. I am considering getting the extended warranty. Unfortunately my dealer won't offer me a discount, quoting the standard "we have a 6% margin on accessories etc etc.

With BMW, I had the same dilemma but was able to purchase the extended warranty through a different dealer referred to me through Bimmerworld.

Do you think your dealer could sell me the extended warranty ?
