Hey I just bought a 2006 S4 about a month ago and I am noticing a click when I turn the wheel. The sound is coming from the left rear when I turn the steering wheel to the right slightly and the right rear when turning to the left. It sounds like a switch or relay and is only one click. Not multiple clicks as would be expected if it were a CV joint. When I turn the wheel all the way in either direction at slow speed I get the initial click at about 30 degrees on steering but then nothing after that. No rubbing, gringing, nothing. I can only hear it when the top or Windows are down. Is this normal?
