Is your S4 a '05 B6 or '05.5 B7?

I have a B7 RS4, but the B7 interiors are pretty much the same across model lines. Look under the armrest and there is a spring loaded flap. There should be a 12v outlet there. Also, you can use the outlet in the ashtray.

If your car is a B6, there are slight differences in the interior. I'd imagine there are outlets in the same locations, though.
