Default 2011 S4 vs 2013 S4

Hey guys,
Need your guys expertise in making a tough decision. I have been searching for an S4 for a while now and have the choice between a 2011 S4 with manual transmission (96000km on it) and a 2013 S4 with the 7 speed automatic transmission (19000km on it).

I like the look of the 2013 slightly more than the 2011 but prefer the manual transmission of the 2011. The 2013 does have paddle shifters but doesn't replace the feel of an actual manual. The 2013 has sport differential but was in a accident which has since been repaired. The 2011 is in Quebec and I've been told to be cautious of rusting on cars from eastern Canada.

Really having a tough time deciding and any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

2013 all the way! Assuming there's no frame damage or anything. I love the 7-Speed that's in my S4! Plus the Sports Dif as well.

thanks, I am leaning towards the 2013 because of the sports differential and its just a little newer but I have heard some people say they prefer the 6 speed manual while others say they love the 7 speed auto. I guess it comes down to personal choice.

I guess it depends on how much you drive. I drive on average of 25K a year. So id get sick of shifting lol. Plus the 0.2 sec it takes The Auto to shift with the Dual-Clutch is sweet! Lol

I drive less than that but had an A4 manual and really enjoyed it but at the same time I have read that the 7 speed auto is faster like you said. The downside to the 2011 manual is the much higher km's in eastern canada which worries me for rust but the 2013 was in an accident and as we all know a car isn't ever truly the same after an accident....really tough choice

As for the accident. It depends. There was a report on my '11 S4 and I checked everything out. Had it on a lift and everything and it checks out and it drives great! I guess you have to drive it and push it a little bit to see...

I did a carproof report and it has rebuilt status on it (front end damage). Guy sent me the pics and says that it drives perfectly fine. Here are the photos of the damageName: IMG_0431.jpg

Tough call. I love the manual because I just enjoy shifting. Based on the two choices, I'd keep looking. Don't rush it.

Ouch, damage looks extensive. If it were me, I'd walk away from this one.

Yeah that's pretty rough! I wouldn't touch that car If it were me personally.
