If I start my car then leave with key in my pocket in order to let it warm up, will the car remain running regardless of how far the key gets from the vehicle?

Will the car shut down if someone with out the key gets in and tries to drive away?

Has anyone been able to bypass the having to press the brake to start?

There is a slot for the remote key on the dash just right of the steering wheel. It works just like a normal key. I use this when I valet park.

Thus you could leave the car running no matter how far away from the car you are.

when you wash the car, leave the key inside...otherwise you will be locking and unlocking whenever you touch the door handles and trunk handle...even hot water will set it off.

Yes I have the advance remote. I was referring more towards starting my car to warm it from the cold. If I leave briefly with the key, and someone takes the car, will it kill after a certain range? Or just not restart once stopped?
