Anyone use the ECS two piece rotors?
Like these?
Normally I'd only buy slotted rotors, but the two piece at a reasonable price is tempting.
The pad wear warning triggered on my car last week even though I have 3mm in the front and 6mm in the rear. The dealer isn't going to do anything about it even though I'm under warranty and just suggested that I ignore the error for six more months until my brakes actually wear out. *grumble grumble* In the past I've used stoptech's OE rotor kits on older cars and have been very happy with them. I probably would not touch the rear rotor for now since it's got years of life left.
I'm open to other suggestions. I only do street driving and occasional canyon fun (have overheated the stock brakes this way). I never track the car. Quiet brakes that work when hot and cold are important to me.
