Anyone want to swap for a 911?
Odd post, but I figured it's worth a shot. I currently have a 2005 997.1 Porsche Carrera 2, black on black, tip with 50,000 miles. It's an absolute blast to drive, but I have 2 kids and they're getting bigger so I was thinking of getting back into an S4 (I had a B5 S4 back in the day). My three musts are (i) alcantara (ii) 6 speed and (iii) still under factory warranty. Preference for deep sea blue, but open to any color (except red). I'd be willing to put add some cash to the deal as well. Let me know if anyone's interested. I'm located in NJ.

Actually I am not a 911 fan, especially the cabs. Very happy with our Boxster S with MT. Really handles in the mountain twisties. A true drivers car IMVHO.
The new 911 Targa looks better than the 911 cab. That Rube Goldberg power roof should be replaced by a manual solid removable piece (recommend carbon fiber). That might interest me with awd. But would need to drive it first.

Thanks fellas. I drove a 2012 this weekend and I think I decided I want a B8.5, so I'll have to add that to the list. I also lean towards unmodified cars because I like to do the modding myself. The tip in the 997 isn't so bad once you get used to it and its pretty great if you find yourself in traffic alot. The car actually makes for a pretty comfortable GT machine. Here are a couple of photos.

The plate looks better on the side like it is, rather than being installed in the middle of the grill. In the middle, it looks like MonSoonHell has buck teeth (IMO).
I have the electric hide-away plate and will look for ways to install it when the weather gets warmer. But as MonSoonHell is lowered, the bottom of the front lip is a no go.
Anyhoot, thanks for judging....Happy Holidays.
