Backseat armrest broke, has this happened to anyone?
So yesterday I was cleaning my 2012 S4 and I was wiping down the armrest when I noticed the piece that clips in and hold the top shut was broken off. Has this happened to anyone else? The funny thing is nobody EVER sits back there, so it the entire time I have owned this car it hasn't been touched and yes I am the first owner. I started to look at the piece and let me tell you it is very cheaply made, the plastic clips that held it in are extremely thin and it doesn't take much to break. I called Audi and they said even though my car is still under warranty, this is a interior issue and they don't cover it past 12000 miles, can this be true? I am really bummed out about this and any advise would be appreciated here, thanks guys.

Thanks for all the help guys So I called Audi back this morning and they are going to replace the armrest, they decided the warranty covers it ( and it should) it will be replaced on Saturday. Btw the MSRP is $1008 and that for a latch that broke, they really need to change that design, it needs better reinforcement.
