Considering a 2010 S4
Hello,
I am long time S4 fan. I had 2001 and 2004 S4's. I am looking at a 2010 with 30k miles. The car is immaculate but no warranty. The water pump hasn't been replaced. So basically I am looking at a low mileage S4 with no warranty. The price is great but I am l nervous as I have no warranty backup. Should I be ?

No. This car is fine and has few if any defects. Most of them had the correct water pump. Mine was an early build (March 2010) and had the good water pump.

If you don't plan to modify, consider an extended warranty. FD-warranty.com sells same warranty (Fidelity) as your local Audi dealer. AAA and some others options out there as well. Warranty from a reputable source gives you peace of mind if you have DSG and / or sport diff because those are major $$$ repairs in the event something goes wrong.
