Great experience with Audi and extended Warranty company.
I know there are a lot of threads out there concerning extended Warranties. I know I have spent a fair share of money on them without having to use them. I took my S4 in because of a dead dash display. i also had them check a rattling speaker and a rear view camera that had sporadic issues.
After an inspection, they determined they would have to replace the entire dash cluster, the cable going to the rear camera, and the front right speaker. The total came out to about $2000.00. I let then know I had a Safe-Drive extended warranty. (53,000 miles) Audi had not heard of them and said they would give them a call. Safe Drive sent a representative out to Audi to verify the repairs, and all was covered with my only responsible for the deductible. ($250.00)
It was refreshing to see it all worked out, thanks to Audi and Safe-Drive.

Lucky you!
I'm a month into ownership of my 2010 S4 and a secondary valve needs replacement. $713 for parts & labor and my dealerships supposedly "100% bumper to bumper 0 deductible" warranty says they won't cover it.
I put a call into the Finance Manager and told him I wanted a refund since the warranty isn't covering what he said, I was told by him "he'll get it sorted out" for me.
Yeah, I'm sure he will; but irritating that I have to go that route.
Glad yours worked out for you though

I'm hoping for good luck with CNA and Audi.
I just covered our 2010 S5 with the Platinum care warranty for $3,500. It's five years and 75,000 total vehicle miles. No deductible.
Also had good dealings with Fidelity on our previous A6 4.2

After discussion I've been told that the one thing it won't cover, besides tires and brakes and body damage, is emissions equipment because: "they are all wear over time components."
I get where they are coming from; but let them know that it's a pretty sour experience getting that issue less than three weeks after purchase of the car and warranty.

Was that for 50k miles on top of what you had at the time you bought it or 50k total miles?
