Looking at a 2013 S4, it states on the factory window sticker the car has black interior but it has the "white" inserts??? Also, the door panels say "audi exclusive" but the white leather is not carried over on the door panels like I usually see. Strange. Any thoughts? Is this correct?

I would think that since the door panel says Audi exclusive that the original buyer custom ordered the car that way. I'm not 100% sure however this is just my opinion.

Will the dealer give you anymore info?

Typical dealer. No idea. And the window sticker has no extra charge for the interior, it just says "black interior - included". the car has been bounced around a lot. Was original an Audi executive car. has only 7K miles on it.

It's clearly two-tone nappa leather interior. Hard to tell in the picture, but it does look "white" which would make it a custom order.

Actually, it was a off-white color, white with a hint of yellow. Again, no reference to anything special on the window sticker.

The seats look exactly like my two-tone nappa leather seats. The insert on the door looks like the stock brushed aluminum, however I've always seen that aluminum also around the dashboard - never seen black around the dash when I was shopping at 2014's.


So, to my eye everything looks normal aside from the black around the dash... (caveat, I only know 2014's, lol)

That interior would have been a extra cost special order Audi exclusive. I thought it might cost an extra $5k. Maybe a little less. Black around the dash comes with the Layered alum/wood trim and with the SS trim in pre 2013 cars.

It was sharp looking. Had the Stainless steel mesh inlays, $750 on the sticker. But something is weird about it listed as just being a black interior. Around the dash and console it was piano black!

In 2013, the SS inlays had a Black instrument panel and console trim. . I was going to order than on my 2014 but SS was discontinued for 2014

I have the SS mesh with piano black in my 2013 so as Dr GP notes that part is not exclusive. The seats don't look that much different to me than pics of black with lunar silver inserts, except that the doors are all black as you noted. Maybe it is a special white with black doors and Audi employees get a deal on special orders like that or something. What color is the exterior?
