I have owned only MT cars since my first car a 1968 Volvo 242. I test drove for about 20 miles MT s 4. I got tired of shifting. I took home a S tronic demo for a weekend and loved it. I custom ordered my 2015.with S-Tronic and love it. The power delivery is amazing, and no clutch hassles.The car is intoxicating .

I agree with you as this is my first non MT vehicle that I have purchased. It is nice to be able to drive in traffic without having to row through the gears for an hour or so. I also find myself moving the shifter over to the "manumatic" selector and then downshifting. I get about 40% of the MT enjoyment out of that.

I bought the CTS Turbo intake for the S4 as I had one on my Golf R and really enjoyed it. Throttle response is quicker and you can definitely hear the SC whine. I am not sure if I am sold on the sound, however, I definitely like the crisp throttle response.
