Upper control arms shot @ 54k?
I have been having some steering wheel vibrations for the past few weeks when driving above 50mph. I had the wheels balanced and it helped a bit so took the car in for an alignment yesterday and they told me that the upper control arms are shot.
Is this normal at 54k? I do not drive overly aggressive and am a bit surprised that it would happen this early.
Have any of you had to replace them this early? If so how much did you pay and what parts did you go with (Audi OEM or aftermarket replacement)?also how much did it run you? Any chance this is covered under extended warranty?

Just spoke to the dealer and looks like it is covered under my extended platinum warranty through Audi. They mentioned that they just pop out the bushings and replace. Work Scheduled for this Wednesday. hoping that fixes my issue.
Local shop quoted about 800 for parts and labor.
