As of now, Audi has stated no 6MT for the S4. The 6MT is only available for the B9 A4 in low-end FWD models, so the prognosis is not positive.

Even the B8 S4 was only available with a 6MT for the North American market. So I'd agree with your B9 prognosis.

2017 A4 fwd will probably weigh < 3500 lbs and with 255 hp and 272 lbs torque will burn front tires easily. They don't make manuals for he S4 in Europe and I wish they do for the B9 eventually

It's more about downshifts anyway, this is where dual clutches really shine.

With a modern PDK you can pull both paddles and the trans. goes into neutral. I'm wondering if this can be achieved with Audi's transmissions? It is a small detail, but I love that fealing of complete control over the steering wheel.
