=( 2months after new trans and now cant get into gear. bad rs4 pressure plate? need opinions
i've read through LCP's and DM-S4's posts and i seem to be experiencing the same symptoms as DM-S4.
i'm hoping to at least somewhat diagnose the issue before i start throwing money at the problem. =/
typical symptoms:
cant get into gear after starting the engine. patience, clutch pedal depresses, mad cursing and shifter jiggling will usually get me into 1st BEFORE starting the engine. starting the car causes movement even with the clutch pedal fully depressed.
beyond not being able to get into gear while started, i've noticed a slight drag on the engine, noted by slight rpm blips, when i fully depress the clutch pedal. now i cant say i've ever noticed this before but then again i never really thought about it. is this normal behavior or is it indicative of something?
i'm pretty sure it's the pressure plate .. but are there common/somewhat obvious symptoms of a bad master/slave cylinder? car's going to ths shop tomorrow .. anything i should tell the shop owner to look out for?
opinions welcome.

It's normal for rpms to slightly change when depressing clutch pedal because...
the ECU activates some different load parameter. You'll see the vacuum change from like -20 to -18.5 in Hg if you had a gauge. BUt your other problems sound like the clutch isn't fully disengaging. There have been report of some bad RS4 pressure plates.
