if it was, it would say "235/40/17" on it.

No. Look up the rolling diameters for specific tires on tire rack.

Default OK, not the same but similar enough that they would work well for a cheap track tire?

I found some good deals on this size and wanted to run them at VIR in April~

Any real issues?

You can run them if they are all the same on all four wheels..dont mis-match 225 &amp; 235
