My car is long gone but I have a 'cherry' B5 exhaust system in my garage with about 4000miles on it. I should have pulled the BORLA off the car and sold it seperate....I could have made a couple of hundred off that unit!

But surely someone gets rear ended and then needs an exhaust, right? They don't pay Audi $1200 for that exhaust, do they?

Too long to ship and too little demand must mean these things go to the scrap yard... What a waste!

Gut the cats for platinum and sell thatnto a scrap metal guy, the mufflers eh maybe a local guy but yeah no one buys those, I got one too sitting in my shed or behind it rather I think the lawn mower took priority after a while

Sure, I sold my stock catbacks after swapping for the twin2. I offered it for 25 bucks plus shipping, or something like in a post here on the classifieds. Sold it in less than a week.

Basically, if you're just looking to clear some junk out someone will take it off your hands for the right price. I doubt you'll get real money for it though.

I was thinking 50 bucks would make me happy. The scrap guy may give me 25...that is a LOT of stainless steel...Did you cut it to ship?

No, the buyer planned to install it, if I recall. I happened to have the right sized box since I had just gotten the twin2 so I shipped it in that.

I'm willing to bet you can get at least 50 + shipping for it on the classifieds.
