APR ECU Upgrade Question

Give it time.. haha. I'm pretty upset about you getting that car. As I'm sure it will convince me that I need one down the road.
Another non-waranty Audi, I'm already afraid.

We have some logs from dgibbs car, who is broken in. See http://forums.quattroworld.com/s4b8/msgs/3457.phtml It looks like around 300 WHP stock, ~ 4.6 sec FATS.

Suprisingly enough, I had no warranty issues on my heavily modified B5 S4. I allways returned ECU to stock before I took it in for service. Never had had any warranty problems related to engine anyway.

g-force based logger with RPM good for measuring HP. It should ideally be the same as measuring acceleration with other methods (VCDS logs, etc). G force based logger does not tell you what contributed to the acceleration however as the VAG-COM (VCDS,etc.) does. The important parameters are captured by a like on a ECUx log on the B5 S4. It includes, boost, MAF, timing, load, AFR, etc.

I mean for pretty comparison between all the stages. If you could overlay the b8 with your b5 data. I'm sure you and nyet will have loads of logging going on at some point. Unless he finally is pretty happy with xplot.
No doubt the drivability of B8 is all around better.

I can do that. Haven't tried my Gtech Pro RR on this vehicle yet. Not sure if it will work. Bear in mind that B8 is heavier than B5, so WHP to WHP needs to be factored.
I personally do most my logs with the Gtech RR. Easier IMO and easier to compare. I will run some logs with the VCDS, particulary related to factors that contibute to tuning (timing, boost, etc).
