Dave, is it your camera, or is the paint bubbling on the black part?
the rest of it looks machined so nicely, but at least from your pics, that black piece looks like it was hacked together. I saw this once before and now I'm wondering if it was your pics I saw. Maybe it's just the focus?

I asked this question a few months ago via email. Here's his response:
I'm sure Jason won't mind:
1. what is your opinion on **** height? How high is your kit's?
Answer: Lower **** height makes it feel like it has a shorter throw.
However the downside to them is that it puts the *** so low that you have a tendency to push down on the shifter when you shift. Ours is stock height for functionality, at stock height your elbow is bent in an angle closer to 90 degrees which give you better leverage for quicker and more precise shifts. In actuality the Neuspeed is worse than stock, watch my comparison video, the shifter I demonstrated on was a Neuspeed, pay particular attention to where I point out how loose the stock pivot ball is on the shaft. http://audishifter.com/videos/JHM_Comparison_web768K.wmv Check out our 2 project cars with our shifters installed, the K03 powered car actually switched from a Neuspeed to mine. The biggest advantage of our design is the unmatched "FEEL" and "FEEDBACK" you will get from the tranny. This has helped me miss less gears and if I do I keep from grinding, since I know it is not in gear, thus I push the clutch right back in.

some of the "pivot ball" looseness can also be attributible to the bottom link
connection. TG tightens this up on his shifters. much more solid than my old Tanoga.
