So I would have to buy the complete mirrors for both sides then..

Would it be direct plug and play>?
I'm sure someone on here has changed the old style mirrors to the new style ones...If that is possible then the reverse should be possible too.

That does sound right. it should bolt up fine, the only issue may be the dimming feature may not of been available for the small mirrors 96-97 MY. if thats the case the connectors would be the only simple issue.

2nd. never seen dimming feature on small A4 mirrors.

If you want one stubby mirror with all internals I can get you one off my A4 that I am doing full

size mirrors on....the grass is always greener right? BTW it's red.

I WANT TO GET RID OF THE STUBBY MIRROR

Hi, I'm new to this website and im just curious what the easiest way to swap out my stubby mirror on my 96 b5 to the brushed aluminum rs4 mirrors.. And if possible where to find them? Any help would be appreciated! Cheers 🍻
