Battery draining every day...where to start?
#12
They could test it, but no local parts stores carry odessys. I too thought I had a bad one...
Until I saw that one of my kids left the rear reading lights on. Went on for a week, as I'd be trying to figure it out in the daylight. Slow crank, solenoid rattle, push start. Didn't drive for a few days once, dead as a door nail. Found out you can't push start our cars withone some juice to the ECU. Jump start.
Then that night, went out in the dark garage, and saw the damned little light. Happy Odessy ever since. They're good batteries, shouldn't be it.

Ok...just installed a new Odyssey PC925...if it's not the battery, then...
most likely there's an electrical drainage somewhere. UGHHHH... let's hope for the best.

is this a new battery?
my friend just bought a new Odyssey PC1200MJT, when he received it he noticed the battery was not charged. He charged it with his new BatteryTender (trickle-charge). But then he got the same problem as yours, the battery was not holding its charge, he had to constantly charging it. He took his car to his mechanic, he ran some tests and concluded that the battery was the problem. Apparently it should have been fully charged before they shipped to the customer. Now he's asking for a refund, he replaced his battery with a DieHard(cheaper, same size, same specs)
