Can someone confirm the labels in this picture? (starter motor exciter wire)

Default Can someone confirm the labels in this picture? (starter motor exciter wire)

i edited the picture above to show locations of the constant 12v wire, and the exciter wire. is the picture labeled correctly? if i try to feed 12v to the exciter wire with the key in the on position it should start if the starter isnt dead right?
