Default Did a pressure test yesterday, I have a question...

I built a pressure tester from information gathered from the search, yes I used it before asking. However, I found nothing that answered my question.

Here is the diagram, part in question is #22.

I found the leak in my system at this part. My question is if there is supposed to be a gasket between the metal plate on the bottom and the plastic piece. Hopefully you can see my red arrow pointing to the area I'm referring to. when I took it apart, there was no gasket. In fact, when I put the 2 pieces together, they didn't sit flush, the metal piece kind of rocked back and forth. This is the area that my leak is coming from.

I just went stage 3 2 weeks ago, and I'm wondering if this wasn't mistakingly left off.

My car was running very smooth until a couple days ago, when it would jerk at WOT.

Thanks for helping.

Don't think so, but there is supposed to be a clamp where the boot meets the bottom metal portion.

EDIT: Make sure that there is an o-ring around the plastic sensor piece and that it is not damaged.

Default It's called the "thrust sensor" by Audi but unfortunately they don't list the o-ring as a separate

part. However, the o-ring for the intake air temperature sensor is just about the same size and it's part # is 095 323 969.

To everyone else, it's the intake pressure sensor or MAP sensor.
