mind you, i've had startup's coilover (as you say) for over a year and would recommend them. shine's suspension is another alternative. i've read good reviews from people who were looking for improvements with stock ride height.
another alternative is eibach pro kit for a couple hundred less with 1 year warranty; and probably worse customer service.

Me to I just bought the car two weeks ago and can't drive it due to a
suspended license. So for now I have my friend drive while I sit shotgun. He knows my car better than I do 
I know I'll be buying suspension in a few months anyway so why not take advantage of a good deal.
