DUH vs AWE intercooling.....which is better
#224
My fan and probe work perfect, it turns at at just about the middle range
and stays on for a good 10-20seconds after I turn off the car, if not longer.
I'm all set! This controller is working fantastic!

The point is not to waste it and buy two just to buy two, it's
that if you NEED to buy another it shouldn't be the end of the world. Plus I don't think it would cost as much because, unless you really hit something hard, all you would need is the core. I think the custom pipes are what cost a lot in that kit.

FMIC is better than two smaller ones
My money would be on the FMIC being more efficient, mainly due to it being much larger. Personally, I'd rather have AWE's. I think they're more than adequate for "standard" stage 3 cars. THey're probably even better for stage 1/2 cars since chips run the stock turbos way out of the best efficiency island! When money is a consideration.. you won't get 2.5 times performance out of the FMIC.
