EGT Problem

EGT Problem
Hello, I had my EGT sensors replaced about 8 months ago and almost immediately after that I started getting EGT fault codes again. The guys at the shop I go to are understandably reluctant to just warranty them and put new ones in because it seems odd for both of them to just go bad right away for no apparent reason. The codes I get are all labeled as intermittent when I check them and they are different codes almost every time.
Sometimes its "Open or Short to Plus", sometimes "Short to Ground", sometimes "Implausible Signal".
Could this just be a connection or wiring problem where it plugs in?
Also, sorry this is getting so long but...I did some data logging and the entire time, regardless of whether I was under hard acceleration or sitting idle at a stop sign, the EGT reading for both sides indicates 940(C). This value should not remain constant right? And isn't that a bit high?
Thanks you.

EGTs only give readings above 940C, and any temperature below that reads as 940C.
Those error codes you mentioned could definitely be caused by bad wiring.

Ok thanks. So then I'm guessing my EGT sensors are not giving any meaningful readings if it just says 940C even when I really getting on the throttle. I took the readings after I had been driving for about an hour so should they have been reading above that? Or do they sometimes just remain below 940C even under hard acceleration?
