I sense an impending turn-around in the dropping B5 S4 prices

Nice S4s will find a floor on price. There comes a point where owners won't get rid of them below a
certain point.
As more of them are crashed off and they become a bit harder to get ahold of that will also help with the floor.
-I doubt it will be 5k just based on relative rarity, (only 14k total compared to 700k Chevy trucks made EVERY year). Although you may see the occasional $5k car. (just not the nice ones)
-Cost of parts is still high enough that many buyers in the 5k market won't be interested. There will become a point where the ONLY people in the market for this car are enthusiasts. Right now there are still people that own them that bought it just to be a car.
- A larger and larger percentage of the remaining s4 are being modified with expensive parts.
-Inflation. Oddly enough as newer S4s get more expensive older ones with nice features become more attractive.
