You know, this IS the S4 forum....
The manufactures registration was very limited on the details that it had on it. I wouldn't surprize me if the car was listed as a Volkswagen. It was a silver S4 (the TT in our group got pulled over too, but the 4.2 A6 got away clean).

I just looked at the registration of the TT I have and it doesn't have any vehicle info on it. I just says "Manufacture" and has VW's address, I'm assuming the same is true on the S4's registration. I guess the guy just wrote it up as a VW car since there was make or model listed.

My father once had a ticket dismissed b/c the officer put the wrong date on the ticket. Another friend had one dismissed b/c the officers notes did not match the information on the ticket.
How can the offense be credible if you weren't even driving a Volkswagon!
