Default intro

Hi folks. After three great years of owning a 200 20 valve I upgraded to a s4 avant this week. I was not really searching for one. I needed something bigger with a manual transmission as I am lucky to have a spouse who is a manual fan as well. I did not like the feel and the maintenance of the allroads so searched for Volvo v70r's.

Last week I saw a gorgeous nogaro avant manual with only 55k on the clock and it was very close to me. I jumped on the deal. Hr coilovers, second set of 18" oz wheels, rs4 ss kit, neuspeed exhaust and sways etc. Never been chipped. Here are some pics

It is a little tight on space for us but with a nice cargo box it should serve us well.

I would like that all black front grill on this car, I believe those are the RS4 grills right? Where can i get one?

thanks

Nice! Avants and cargo boxes are like sex and beer.

Default Still contemplating if I want to do the RS4 bumper mod to my new bumper...

Not sure how it would look vs. just putting some RS4 mesh in. I agree it looks good on silver and other lighter colors. I just don't think there is enough contrast with black. So it's not really worth the time and effort.

Default Yep, removed the outter frame, sanded it up, and hit it with a few light coats of PlastiDip ...

... I am amazed how it's held up, although I've only had it done for a few months now.

I'm in Denver and the sand we lay down on our roads is crazy ... all that and a few power washings and no issues ...

Good Stuff ..

Default The center bar delete is a huge pain, but it looks SO much better IMHO. Black is tuff ...

.. I know there are some black ones on here that have done it ...

It'd be way easier to conceal the frack ups, that's for sure ;-P

Default I had the kamaei one first ... yuck. For a few dollars more, you can get the OEM RS4 grill ...
