Default lm reps

i have a set of lm reps i picked up cheap,im not sure if the they will fit, i have a 2001 s4,stock brakes, the wheels are a 5x112 18x8 with a 38mm offset, i put them on with no tires, i need to use atleast a 10mm spacer which is not cool, but now im worried about what tire size to get, these wheels were on a 2001 a4 with 235/40/18. I just can't see a tire clearing the knuckle, the rim does by a about a 3/8", anyone else running these wheels and get them to work, i've seen some other posts buy no one acutally says if they work or not, thanks

Default assuming the 01 a4 had stock calipers? 10mm will almost def rub

225,235 will work largely depending on the brand of tire. eg: 225 s03's run really wide and are comparable to some 235 width tires.

Default Re: get a wheel spacer

like i said, i have 10 or 12mm spacers that work, the rim clears the knuckle, im worried after i put tires on, the tire rubbing the knuckle right by the pinch bolt

Default id say unless your want to be nice and high like an suv =) but ya

with a 28 ET (38 plus 10mm spacer) you will be well outside the fender. my best advice would be to find dif. wheels.
