good price, but i am working w/ a guy to either trade my stock abox and some cash for it or just
trade my GIAC for the MTM abox, but after reading these comments, I don't want my car to be slower!!!

I have an ECU with the MTM 435hp (stg 5) software 4 sale...
Went to a custom tune due to some hardware changes. MTM code nice and smooth, but not as much boost at high RPM. Torque is fantastic.
Just sitting on my workbench, so make an offer if interested.

Totally depends on what you want. I've run GIAC, AMS, and MTM...
AMS is the best for 91 octane - just as fast as GIAC but smoother.
GIAC is the fastest on higher octane gas - takes advantage of timing the best.
MTM is a great everyday driving chip. Fairly smooth but has more boost taper up top....which translates to being a tad slower but also is probably easier on your turbos.
You can't have it all. Rank power, smoothness and safety and you will have your answer.

Just as much power as GIAC, but better power delivery which IMO, makes it a better program....
espeically with cars running on 91 Octane fuel.
While it is true that there is no more AMS, but you can still find one surface up in the classified as their owner upgrade to Stage 3. They are rare because I think most of their owners are happy with it and see no real need to change until they are going full stage 3.
Incidentally, I did just upgrade to full stage 3 and I do have an AMS/ABT M-Box ECU for sale or for trade with a stock M or T Box.

Keep your GIAC-X, make sure you have a recent version. Newer GIAC-X much
smoother than older versions.
