Does anyone have a ICM they dont' want. I have a 2001 S4.

New ICMs are not that expensive if you buy the HUCO aftermarket brand.
Used oem Bosch ICMs are always suspect-- Audi doesn't call them POS for nothing!.

If you need an ICM I have known good used ones for 40 shipped. OEM audi, no aftermarket crap. No codes thrown. If interested let me know.

If you really want a "getto" repair try this: The ICM from an 1992 and later Audi 100 2.8l 12V engine will work but you will only be able to use one attaching screw because the Hitachi ICM is larger than the later Bosch ICMs.
I used a 165,000 mile 92 100S ICM to replace a defective Bosch unit on a 2001 A6 2.7 bi turbo over a year ago and its is still working. And the repair was done at my friend's BMW shop on Fitzpatrick Street in Detroit, Michigan--so I guess is was a real "getto" repair".
